Lenovo is starting the summer with deep discounts on some of our favorite laptops. A business-minded ThinkPad X1 Yoga (our favorite premium business two-in-one) is discounted by more than $1,000, and Yoga C940 and C740 models (both of which made our best laptops of 2020 list) are also marked down. In addition, a few discounted ThinkPads caught our eye as did a high-powered Legion gaming laptop.

Lenovo has a Legion Y740 laptop (model 81UH0000US) currently marked down to a reasonable $1,570 with code GAMERDADS. It supplies a 15.6-inch display with a 1,920x1,080-pixel resolution and a speedy 144Hz refresh rate. Inside you get a ninth-gen Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB of RAM and the GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. The RTX 2060 is the entry-level card in Nvidia's current RTX lineup and offers excellent bang for your buck along with support for ray tracing, which reproduces how light behaves in the real world to give games a more photorealistic look.
